2024-02-18
FAW TRUCKS JH6 and J6P models have gained recognition in the market and among truck enthusiasts since their launch. Both of these trucks offer outstanding performance and reliable quality. However, they have some noticeable differences in terms of design, functionality, and features. Below, we will provide a detailed comparison of the unique features of these two trucks.
Exterior Design:
In terms of exterior design, FAW TRUCKS JH6 stands out with its streamlined shape and dynamic lines. The body lines are smooth, giving a sense of fashion and sportiness. On the other hand, J6P focuses more on practicality and a dignified appearance, with a simple and generous exterior design that meets the requirements of commercial transportation.
Details:
The J6P model has three vehicle speed indicator lights in the middle of the cab, which are not seen in the JH6. The JH6 headlights appear more vibrant and are equipped with LED clearance lights, giving them a distinctive look. Both trucks comply with current regulations and have front lower protection beams. The front bumper of the JH6 is lower and hidden inside the bumper, while the J6P's is exposed on the outside.
Powertrain System:
There is no significant difference in the powertrain systems of these two models. Both vehicles are equipped with the Xichai CA6DM2-42E4 engine, with a power of 420 horsepower.
Transmission:
Both models also use the FAW TRUCKS FAST 12-speed transmission. They are equipped with the FAW TRUCKS 457 stamped and welded axle. The rear axle speed ratio for the FAW TRUCKS J6P is 4.111, while for the JH6 it is 3.7.
Chassis:
The FAW TRUCKS JH6 adopts a single-layer chassis with dimensions of 300x80x8, while the FAW TRUCKS J6P uses a double-layer chassis with dimensions of 300x80x(8+5). Compared to the JH6, the J6P has better suitability for heavy-duty load requirements.
Cabin:
Entering the cabins of these two models, the differences are quite noticeable. Firstly, the FAW TRUCKS JH6 has a higher cabin, which allows for a nearly flat floor structure, providing a more spacious and comfortable interior space. Additionally, the A-pillar angle of the JH6 is much smaller than that of the J6P, resulting in better visibility compared to the J6P.
Features:
Both the JH6 and J6P are equipped with power windows, but the JH6 also comes with power mirrors, which are not equipped in the J6P. Additionally, both vehicles have central door locking.
